De Werkspoorkathedraal is een imponerende industriële locatie op steenworp afstand van het bruisende centrum van Utrecht.
\nIndustrieel erfgoed
De locatie was sinds 1960 het decor om te bouwen aan staalconstructies, waaronder treinen en bruggen. De Montagehal is 23 meter hoog en heeft een oppervlakte van ruim 5.000 vierkante meter. Wie er voor het eerst binnenloopt, zal bevestigen dat 'kathedraal' een toepasselijke benaming is. De originele elementen van de oude fabriek zijn nog steeds zichtbaar en versterken het industriële karakter van de locatie.
Inspirerende evenementen
Creativiteit en vakmanschap zijn twee begrippen die kenmerkend zijn voor De Werkspoorkathedraal. Voor zowel kleinschalige als enorme evenementen (tot 3.500 bezoekers) biedt de locatie vele mogelijkheden. Naast de robuuste Montagehal beschikt De Werkspoorkathedraal over een aantal break out ruimtes. Een daarvan is de originele Wasruimte van 330 m2, waar de betonnen teilen de ruimte uniek in haar soort maken.

Utrecht Zuilen Station is an 8-minute walk from the Werkspoorkathedraal. There is also a bus stop near our location.
It is not possible to stay overnight in the Werkspoorkathedraal. A hotel nearby is, for example, 'De Blend'.
Definitely! We are a vendor-free site. We do know a lot of great caterers, so would be happy to think with you if you're still looking.
In the Apparatenhal we are allowed to continue until 01:00. With notification or permit, more is possible in here. In the Wasruimte we have a 24-hour permit.
