Located within the core of Amsterdam's famous concentric canals, odeon has a rich cultural heritage. Originally built as a beer brewery in 1662, it became Amsterdam 's first real Concert Hall in 1830. At the end of the 20th century, Odeon was well known as a cinema and auction house and starting in 1980 as a discotheque and the venue for a variety of events.
The historical elements are still intact in today's Odeon in combination with a contemporary Dutch design. This stately canal house on the Single holds a cocktail bar, a large Concert Hall with a VIP balcony and various attractive rooms that are well suited for meetings, presentations, private dining and cocktail parties.
