Boom Chicago's Theatre on the Rozengracht was the first major cinema built in Amsterdam in 1913, almost ten years before Tuschinski. The warm, industrial space has since been transformed into three theaters with a bar and catering facilities. The complex includes dressing rooms, offices, and breakout spaces. Behind the scenes, the facilities are modern. The heating, air conditioning, and wifi were replaced in 2022.

The main theater accommodates 350 seated and has 400 standing spaces. The capacity of the theater on the upper floor is 120, and the attic theater accommodates up to 35. The funky bar Boom Chicago features high ceilings, original stained glass windows, and an event space for 15-150 people.

Lovely location and amazing team to work with!

December I'v organized amazing Christmas party in collab w/ Boom Chicago, and I must say, the location was absolutely fantastic. Not only did they provide a wonderful atmosphere, but the event itself was brilliantly orchestrated. Working with Cherish and the team was an absolute pleasure; they did a phenomenal job ensuring that every detail was taken care of. From the lively ambiance to the impeccable service!

Amazing location, very cooperative team, succesful event

We had our Holiday/ Year end Event with Boom Chicago. Cherish was amazing at every stage of the planning, from the very beginning till the end and after communication! The whole team at the location was also helpful and acted on all the requests we had right away. Comedians are amazing, our whole team had a so much laugh during the imporv show. Dinner was delicious and enough for everyone.

Atmospheric location with a fantastic team!

We held our end of the year event at Boom Chicago, which included presentations, lunch/dinner and a show. The team at Boom Chicago were amazing and were a delight to work with. They were a great help in making the event a roaring success. The location itself was amazing, being very accessible for people joining from outside Amsterdam and the room itself was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended!
