About the venue
Bovendonk: a historical location for business and events
Bovendonk is a unique business and event location with a rich history dating back to 1282. Located in the heart of western North Brabant, the venue is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Parking is not an issue and electric cars can also be easily charged on-site. The monumental building, originally built as a seminary, offers an inspiring environment for meetings and events today.
Meetings in historical surroundings
Our meeting rooms combine historical charm with modern facilities. Think of the Library, the Uythofzaal with characteristic roof beams, the impressive Congress Chapel, or one of the other flexible meeting rooms. Each space exudes history while also providing the comfort you can expect from a professional venue.
Parties, dinners, and receptions
For intimate receptions or dinners, there are atmospheric spaces like the Brasserie and the Staff Room. For larger parties with more than 100 guests, the monumental Refter & Seminar Room or the Chapel are the perfect choice. For events with many visitors, the inner garden can also be used, where a historical ambiance meets a relaxed outdoor atmosphere.
Custom meetings & events
Bovendonk is suitable for both short meetings and multi-day conferences, knowledge sessions, and customer events. With a large plenary room and various breakout rooms, the venue is ideal for programs with multiple sessions. It is a historical location with all the modern facilities that professional meetings require.
A networking day becomes extra special when the inner garden serves as a central meeting point, complete with bars, food courts, and live music. The surrounding rooms provide space for presentations, workshops, and talks. Our versatile catering ensures a fully catered experience, from artisanal bitterballen to refined culinary amuses.
A national monument in a green environment
The building was designed by architect Pierre Cuypers, known for the Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam Central Station. The building is set up as a 'small town,' with characteristic gable roofs, rich patterns in the corridors, and beautiful details above the windows. The surrounding park, with ancient oaks and stately avenues, offers plenty of opportunities to relax between meetings.
Special rooms with character
The Library – inspired by the library of the Rijksmuseum, exudes knowledge and history.
The Uythofzaal – here the original wooden beams have been restored, giving the space its former grandeur back.
The Refterzaal – once the dining hall of the seminary, now an atmospheric venue for lunches, dinners, receptions, and parties. The painted vaults, large windows, and wooden floor create a warm and intimate atmosphere, regardless of the size of the group.
With a combination of historical allure, a green environment, excellent accessibility, and versatile spaces, Bovendonk is the ideal location for meetings and events for up to 325 people.
