About the venue
Renesse. Just 300 meters from the North Sea beach lies Hotel-Congress Center De Zeeuwse Stromen. That it is not just sea and land that meet in the surf is evident from the fact that Hotel-Congress Center De Zeeuwse Stromen has been the venue for business meetings for decades.
Meeting at the coast... of course!
Next to the hotel are the dunes, the coast, the beach, and the sea. Also wooded, that. The presence of so much unspoiled nature has an effect on a person. It definitely encourages reflection. And before you know it, exactly what you came to the coast for has happened… the hustle and bustle of everyday office life has momentarily faded into the background. The senses are stimulated. No pressure for a while… this promises to be a productive day!
Surprisingly versatile
With 135 rooms, a private restaurant, bar, and (outdoor) swimming pool, Hotel-Congress Center De Zeeuwse Stromen presents itself as surprisingly versatile. The location invites you to combine business with pleasure. A team-building event on the beach or a party evening at our nearby beach pavilion gives each (multi-day) event just that little bit of extra experience.
Not a novice in the field of sustainability
At De Zeeuwse Stromen, we are aware that we are located in a unique part of Zeeland, with an unprecedented level of biodiversity. Our mission is to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible, so that future generations can continue to make beautiful memories here. As a result of these efforts, our hotel-congress center has been Green Key Gold certified since 2014. However, we go beyond the usual standards. For example, there are 40 solar boiler panels on the roof of the hotel, allowing us to save as much as 50,000 to 60,000 m3 of gas annually. Food and cuttings? We literally extract energy from them through our biowaste digester. Energy that is then used to heat the hotel rooms, for example.
