Castle De Schaffelaar was once built by a Barneveld baron. The baron spared no expense for his new residence, and that is clearly visible. Two and a half million red bricks were brought in, and a huge amount of marble came over from Italy. The castle is characterized by its corner towers, balustrades, and marble details. But also by the beautiful green surroundings. Nowhere in the Netherlands will you find a castle in this style that has been so well preserved!

Rooms and spaces for every moment of the day
The castle, with its intimate salons, large halls, and a beautiful wine cellar, is suitable for groups of up to 400 people, but groups of 100 people can also find excellent accommodations here. For the plenary session, you walk to the large Baron van Nagell hall, after which the smaller rooms are perfect for sub-sessions. Afterward, enjoy a drink with delicious snacks in the wine cellar or in the sun on the terrace. The food team will, of course, take good care of the guests with honest and sustainable dishes.
