The kitchen is characterized by simplicity, flavor, and quality.

The location has a beautiful restaurant, a conservatory overlooking the terrace, and a fantastic terrace looking out on the arsenal, enjoying sun all day and sheltered from the wind.

SEAson Arsenaal – a name in Naarden Vesting

The first stone of the military accommodation was laid around the year 1688. Interior architect Jan des Bouvrie took a bold step to furnish 'Het Arsenaal' as a living store and showroom for his designs, which then developed into a leading concept for design, luxury, jewelry, and lifestyle. The spirit of Jan continues at this historic place.

Gastronomically, a mark is made on the Arsenal by Paul Fagel. At the request of Jan des Bouvrie, he took on the challenge of operating a restaurant and brasserie in 1991, which led to the award of the Lifetime Achievement Award from Gault&Millau in February 2023.
