Who are we?

We take pride in Spant's unique approach, where culture and commerce intersect and strengthen one another. To keep the cultural heart of Spant beating, our conference and events division is of great importance. We use the income from conferences and events to directly invest in these cultural activities. So, the companies that organize their conferences or events with us help support the next generation of artists like Youp van 't Hek, Brigitte Kaandorp, Racoon, or Waylon. This approach, where commercial enterprises subsidize the theater, is unique in the Netherlands. Quite a story, isn't it?

We are also proud of our sustainable policies. In 2011, we were the first theater in the Netherlands to take sustainability seriously. Now, we can confidently say that Spant is one of the leaders in the theater and events industry when it comes to sustainable business practices.

Because food and beverage are so essential, we collaborate with Michelin-star chef Dennis Huwaë. It's a fantastic match. Under his supervision, our passionate kitchen team prepares delicious, vibrant, and sustainable dishes. Whether you opt for a 'signature' walking dinner or a simple lunch, his influence is unmistakable. Everything is fresh, made in-house, and crafted with love.

Spant's Outdoor Venue

Our outdoor venue, Fier Bussum, is located in Spant's backyard! Our historic outdoor location spans 25,000 m2 of green space and can accommodate groups of up to 300 people.
