The Vrije Academie does not have private parking. When visiting, we advise to park your vehicle in Q-Park Kalverstraat, Singel 451 C, 1012 WP Amsterdam. Parking outside is limited on the canals.

The Vrije Academie is located on the canals of Amsterdam and is therefore difficult to reach by car. We advice you to come by public transport.

The Vrije Academie is located withing 5 minutes walking distance from tram stop Koningsplein (tram 2 or 12). Metro station Rokin (metro 52) is also within 10 minutes walking distance from our location.

The Vrije Academie does not have any hotel rooms.

The Vrije Academie had 3 preferred catering partners. If they don't meet your requirements, you can bring your own caterer (against extra costs). However, please note that self-prepared food service is not allowed.

At the Vrije Academie, your event can last until 23:00. The outdoor garden is open until 20:00. It is not allowed to play music outdoors.

If you cancel your event at the Vrije Academie, the following conditions apply (unless decided differently): • If more than 5 months’ notice is given: no cancellation charge • More than 1 months’ and less than 5 months’ notice: 50% of the fixed location costs • More than 2 weeks’ and less than 1 months’ notice: 100% of the fixed location costs • More than 1 week’s but less than 2 weeks’ notice: 100% of the fixed location costs plus 50% of the costs of facilities, catering and personnel • One week’s notice or less: 100% of the fixed location costs plus 100% of the costs of facilities, catering and personnel.
