EKWC

Welcome to the European Ceramic Workcentre (EKWC). EKWC is an international artist-in-residence and research centre for ceramics. For over 50 years, artists, designers, and architects from all over the world have been welcomed here to experiment with clay. This results in both remarkable artworks and technical innovations. The results can be seen in museums from New York to Tokyo.

We have a beautiful inspiring space available for rent for meetings, retreats, pop-ups, sample sales, and other events. You can also join us for guided tours of our ceramic workshop or, for example, a team-building workshop with clay. We are located in the former dyeing and tanning factory of the Rijksmonument Koninklijke Verenigde Leerfabriek KVL in Oisterwijk. A historic and atmospheric place where making is central.
