Welcome to Het Houtse Meer, a breathtaking location nestled in an oasis of greenery with a stunning view over a vast lake. Conveniently located for Benelux companies and easily accessible via the A27 and A59, between Breda and Oosterhout, our venue also offers ample parking for approximately 230 cars, including 12 spaces with charging stations for electric cars.

Our venue has ample options for both plenary sessions and break-out meetings for up to 750 people! And with our own catering, we ensure that guests are also surprised and inspired on a culinary level.

Het Houtse Meer is proud to be GREEN KEY GOLD certified – the highest recognition for sustainable businesses in the hospitality sector. This certificate acknowledges our efforts to put sustainable entrepreneurship at the center of everything we do! We use triple glazing and a heat pump with 400% efficiency. We work with several local suppliers and with ecological and organic products such as organic wines, dairy, and vegetables, as well as ecological cleaning products.

Versatile event location
We never stand still; even the past year has been full of expansions and innovations! In addition to our 3 rooms with terraces by the water, we now also have a chic extra lounge indoors for presentations and dinners, a 500m2 pavilion on the outdoor area, and the airstream caravan by the water can be booked for management meetings. The beach has received a significant upgrade with much more sand, palm trees, and an activity area. In addition, a new outdoor kitchen with terrace, umbrellas, and a large Argentine grill.
For activities in between, there are 3 pétanque courts on our grounds and an activity beach with many possibilities and a direct surrounding area with plenty of options. We have a special activities team available that can create a beautiful program tailored to your company.

Extra upper floor with rooftop terrace
From April 1, 2026, we will open our upper floor with 4 additional rooms of 100 m2 each. These rooms can be connected, and there is a large rooftop terrace surrounding them with a beautiful view of the lake.

Get into the right atmosphere during the intake meeting with our enthusiastic sales ladies and plan a visit to experience the energy of our locations live! Our online event planner provides transparency and insight into costs and the schedule from start to finish. And our experienced Party Managers also ensure our warm hospitality and personal attention to every detail during the execution of your event.
