About
Amidst the swaying cranes and the industrial tracks of the Port of Amsterdam, you'll find Thuishaven: The cultural haven of the city.
Thuishaven started as an outdoor festival and has evolved into an eclectic event venue in Amsterdam West. It's a raw space on a sprawling terrain with endless possibilities.
Whether it's a multi-day business festival, live acts, performance art, corporate parties, product launches, or conferences, with a capacity of three thousand visitors, nothing is beyond the realm of possibility at Thuishaven.
The festival grounds offer various indoor and outdoor options that can be utilized year-round, each with its own character:
The outdoor mainstage with an imposing, rusty sheet pile wall.
A colorful, vintage circus tent.
A spacious, robust Romney shed.
A charming little bar house.
Thuishaven is located near the A10 and is easily accessible by bus and metro. Outside of office hours, there's free parking available, and there are also numerous low-cost parking options nearby.

At Thuishaven, you can park right in front at the ParkBee system. In the immediate vicinity, parking is available at the municipal rate, and from 19:00, it's free.
Thuishaven is very accessible by public transport; the nearest metro stop is Isolatorweg, and from there it's just a 5-minute walk. Isolatorweg is one stop away from Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station. Prefer to take the bus? From the central station, a bus stops within a 5-minute walking distance.
Between a 5-minute and a quarter-hour walk, there are about twenty hotels.
Bringing your own caterer is certainly possible, but of course, we can also facilitate this.

The location is very accessible by car; Thuishaven is within the ring from Amsterdam, but it's only a 3-minute drive to the Amsterdam ring road.
