Vessel 11 Rotterdam

Vessel 11 Rotterdam – A Unique Meeting and Event Venue Aboard a Historic Lightship

A corporate event, meeting or celebration your guests will remember.

Looking for a venue that's a little different? At Vessel 11, you step aboard a historic lightship right in the heart of Rotterdam.

A unique event venue in the heart of Rotterdam

Vessel 11, also known as V11, is moored at Wijnhaven in the heart of Rotterdam. Built in 1951, this lightship has been lovingly transformed into a British pub, restaurant, brewery, live music venue and event space.

You can host meetings, workshops, staff parties, corporate drinks receptions, weddings and business dinners here. The combination of historic maritime details, music and hospitality gives every gathering its own character.

Why come aboard Vessel 11?

At Vessel 11, you quite literally step away from your everyday working environment. No standard meeting room or ordinary event venue, but a ship with a story to tell.

During the day, get together for a meeting, reception, workshop or team day. Later, the atmosphere shifts as colleagues gather for drinks, dinner or an evening of celebrations.

Our experienced crew will work with you to bring your plans and ideas to life. From a business meeting to a staff party with live music, you decide how your event takes shape.

From meetings to parties: the possibilities on board

Vessel 11 offers a variety of options for corporate and private events:

• Meetings, workshops and team days
Staff parties, anniversaries and corporate drinks receptions
• Business dinners and walking dinners
• Live music, DJ sets and silent discos
• BBQs and a range of catering packages
• Outdoor waterside terrace
• Our own brewery – beers brewed alongside the ship, served on board
• Custom-made music quizzes or pub quizzes for groups
• Cocktail workshops

Available spaces and capacities depend on your preferred layout and the type of event.

From the first coffee to the last round

Picture this: your guests step aboard, right in the middle of Rotterdam's Wijnhaven harbour. The historic ship makes an impression from the moment they arrive.

Start with a meeting or workshop, followed by a group lunch. Afterwards, there's plenty of room for conversations, fresh ideas and relaxed encounters.

As the day draws to a close, the group can move to the bar or enjoy a drink together on the terrace. And of course, no visit would be complete without trying a beer from our very own floating brewery. Brewed alongside the ship, served on board.

Choose a walking dinner, a relaxed BBQ or an evening with live music. Prefer a DJ or silent disco? That's possible too.

At Vessel 11, your event naturally flows from working together to enjoying yourselves together.
