About
In the early 19th century, the 'goeikamer' in many Brabant farms was the domain of the men from the neighborhood. At least on Saturdays - when the weekly wages are paid - and on Sundays after church. The men come for a glass of top-fermented beer, a chat, and who knows, maybe even for a secret drink. At that time, women and children are often not welcome in the pub, but fortunately that has now changed since Café Budel is in the Open Air Museum. Experience the coziness of Brabant here!
Café Budel is the place to go for a few hours of fun. Men, women, children; everyone will feel at home in this cozy café. Have a beer, play old Dutch pub games, and take the time to catch up with everyone. Just like it was meant to be in the past. Budel is perfect for a reception, drinks, or birthday party.
