About the space
On the border of ‘Asia’ and ‘Africa’, you will find the restaurant Poort van Azië. This monumental (former tea house) by architect Sybold van Ravesteyn has been fully renovated and immersed in ‘1001-nights’ atmospheres. From the restaurant, you have a view of the elephant herd and through the greenery, you can see the silhouettes of the impressive lions.
