Schout-bij-nacht – Restaurant & Bar

Restaurant & Bar Schout-bij-nacht is a versatile event location in the center of Amsterdam, located in the Jordaan on Westerstraat. The venue consists of a restaurant area (~85 m²), a bar (~50 m²) and a terrace at the front.

With a total area of approximately 135 m², Schout-bij-nacht is suitable for private dining, corporate dinners, drinks, walking dinners, product presentations, pop-ups, and corporate parties. Due to the combination of restaurant and bar, an event can be structured in phases: reception on the terrace or at the bar, dinner in the restaurant, followed by a festive conclusion with a DJ or live act.

The restaurant offers space for:

75 people in a dinner setup
110 people for walking dinner or drinks
The bar is suitable for:

70 people standing

A high-quality hi-fi sound system is integrated throughout the venue, suitable for background music, presentations, and DJ sets. DJs and artists can be arranged by us in consultation.

Schout-bij-nacht is ideal for anyone looking to rent a restaurant in Amsterdam or a bar in the Jordaan for an exclusive event. The kitchen and drinks menu are an integral part of the rental; we only work with our own chefs and selected suppliers. This ensures that quality and experience remain consistent.
