De Vasim

In this former art silk spinning mill in Nijmegen, VasimEvents has multiple spaces and a large outdoor area for business meetings. The spaces vary in size (from 150m2 to 900m2) and are equipped with light, sound, and video. The spaces are perfect for conferences, company parties, and festivals. 

Facilities
The hall downstairs (375 m2) is equipped with a stage with two laser beamers and a sound system for up to 250 people. Additionally, standard theater lighting is available. The space also features a large bar and large folding doors that open directly to the terrace.

The hall on the first floor is equipped with a sound system for 800 people and has theater lighting. There are also standard connections for bars available here.

On the first floor is also the kitchen (80m2) with enough connections to plug in your own kitchen equipment. Next to the kitchen are two large goods lifts that lead to the loading dock on the ground floor.

We also have a fixed network of preferred suppliers in the field of event technology, catering, and online streaming.

Workshop Spaces and Break-Outs
Because we are located in a creative collective building, we can arrange (almost) endless workshop spaces and break-outs. It is possible to facilitate more than 14 spaces in addition to the plenary session. Of course, all equipped with light, video, and sound.

How can we help?
We have extensive experience in organizing events, so we can think along on every level. From furniture to event technology and from catering to decoration and programming. 

Would you prefer to do this completely or partially yourself? That's no problem! It is possible to bring your own suppliers.

Accessibility
The Vasim is located just outside the city center and is easily accessible from both Den Bosch and Venlo as well as from Utrecht and Arnhem. There is a large parking area where you can park for free. 

From the station, it is a 15-minute ride with the OV-bike or you can take one of the buses that stop next to the building every 10 minutes.

About De Vasim
The Vasim served for many years as an art silk spinning mill. The building then had several factory functions until it was vacated in 2000. For twenty years, it served as a cultural workshop for theater makers and artists. Now, after a major renovation, it has become the heart of the new pioneering area NYMA. 

In this area, progressive and innovative entrepreneurs are given the chance and space for their business.
