About the venue
Gashouder is part of Westergas. For many years, Westergas has been a household name in Amsterdam. In 2018, the buildings of the Westergasfabriek were renamed Westergas. The same site, new energy: the Cultural Park of Amsterdam.
In addition to cultural programming, Gashouder is available for rent at select times of the year as a location for large corporate events. With a capacity of over 3,500 visitors, the iconic circular monument offers a rare combination of scale and intimacy.
Opposite Gashouder stands the industrial De Wester, the former Transformer House. De Wester as an event location of 700 m² offers versatile possibilities with customized packages for presentations, dinners, and corporate parties. De Wester has a capacity of 770 guests.
