Strandzuid, with its tropical vibes, is the ultimate destination for your beach experience right in the heart of the city! Nestled in a surprising location behind the RAI Amsterdam, by the water, you'll find Amsterdam's most versatile event venue.

What makes Strandzuid so versatile? The numerous multifunctional spaces and extensive facilities make virtually any customized event possible. Our sales team organizes over 300 events of various sizes each year, offering clients access to a wealth of knowledge. The combination of this experienced team and thoughtfully designed venues guarantees an unforgettable experience at this unique location in Amsterdam.

The Jetty Bar:

When the weather allows, it's time for drinks and barbecues at The Jetty. A bar with its own kitchen by the water. This partially covered outdoor venue with a stylish stretch tent is the ideal spot for team-building with colleagues, family birthdays, or Friday afternoon drinks with friends. It's also perfect for beautiful (wedding) ceremonies.

The Boat House:

Our largest event space with its own terrace is The Boat House, located by the water next to the Restaurant. The space exudes warmth, and its extensive use of glass creates a seamless connection to the outdoors.

The Waterterrace:

Via the jetty, you'll reach this exclusive location—a floating terrace on the water with a view of Beatrixpark. A unique setting for cocktails, dinners, a silent disco, or (wedding) ceremonies. The terrace is largely covered with a parasol and heaters.

The Restaurant:

The Restaurant features a spacious front terrace. During sunny months, guests can enjoy lunch, drinks, and dinner here, making it a perfect venue for your event. The menu offers high-quality seasonal dishes that everyone will recognize.

The Waterfront:

The Waterfront is a covered drinks venue with a cozy stretch tent and a beautiful water view. It's an ideal place for drinks or barbecues with colleagues, friends, or family. Dishes are served from the adjacent kitchen of The Beach Bar.

The Beach House:

This indoor venue has a typical summery atmosphere with playful elements, plenty of light, and its own terrace. It's located right on Strandzuid's main beach.

The Playground:

The Playground is a great spot for a relaxed drink. This drinks venue is located on the beach and covered by a stretch tent. It's perfect for casual Friday gatherings, birthdays, graduation parties, and other informal events with a summer vibe.

In winter, Strandzuid transforms into a winter wonderland known as Zuidpool.

Strandzuid/Zuidpool is situated between the centrally located RAI Amsterdam and Beatrixpark. We are easily accessible by car via the A10, by public transportation using the new North/South metro line, and even by boat through the Amsterdam canals. There is ample parking for all your guests in the RAI parking garages.
