The Hortus botanicus Leiden offers four unique venues, each with its own atmosphere, charm, and story.
The monumental 18th-century Orangery is divided into a large left and right wing with a reception hall in the middle. High French doors and a spacious private terrace for lunch or a concluding drink make this location perfect for your business gathering. If you have a smaller group, you can use our spacious Garden Room, located in the tropical greenhouse called 'De Wintertuin', which also serves as a winter residence for potted plants. Here, you can hold meetings among the palms and enjoy lunch in the private area of the Hortus Grand Caf&eacute; in the afternoon. Or perhaps you'd prefer to take a lunchbox into the garden to truly get away. For a concluding drink, you can head to the Wintertuin, furnished with high and low tables, creating a unique atmosphere among the potted plants and palms. If you wish to have a dinner following the event in the form of shared dining, a walking dinner, or a served dinner, this can be organized for you by the high-quality caterer.
During your event, you can also book guided tours in English and Dutch. Our passionate garden staff will take you on a tailor-made tour or one of the existing themed tours: crown jewels, medicinal plants, spices, Japan, or tropical greenhouses.
The Hortus botanicus Leiden will make your business event, potentially online or hybrid, one to remember. The staff at the Hortus will work with you to ensure that everything is just right. Het Grand Caf&eacute; van de Hortus is een stijlvolle ruimte die zich uitstekend leent voor recepties en diners. In de luchtige en lichte serre kunt u ook met koud weer genieten van de tuin. Met een mooie zomerdag is het mogelijk om een diner of receptie op ons priv&eacute;terras te verzorgen. In de wintermaanden is het Grand Caf&eacute; beschikbaar voor evenementen vanaf 19:00 uur en in de zomermaanden vanaf 20:00 uur.

De Tuinkamer is gelegen in de Wintertuin en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het Cycasterras en de Wintertuin die &lsquo;s winters is gevuld met kuipplanten. Ideaal voor zakelijke bijeenkomsten of voor groepen die een priv&eacute;ruimte zoeken voor een lunch. De Tuinkamer kan het hele jaar door gebruikt worden. De capaciteit van de Tuinkamer ligt tussen de 10 en 40 personen.

De 18-eeuwse, monumentale Oranjerie is een prachtige locatie, gelegen aan de singels van Leiden en is bijzonder geschikt voor diners, recepties, congressen en feestavonden. De ruimte is opgedeeld in een grote linker- en rechtervleugel met een ontvangsthal in het midden. Het is ook mogelijk uw gasten op het terras te ontvangen. De Oranjerie is beschikbaar tussen midden april en eind oktober.
