About the space
Bleriot is a well-known aircraft that goes back to the early days of aviation. It is named after Louis Blériot, a French aviation pioneer. The most famous is the Blériot XI, a single-engine monoplane that made history in 1909 when Blériot became the first to fly across the Channel. The Bleriot room in Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Wings-Rotterdam is possibly named after this historic aircraft and serves as a tribute to the pioneering spirit and progress of aviation.
