About the space
You could almost call The Whole Green Turn a cabinet of curiosities, but this room truly is one. Art from the last millennium, jellyfish and anemones in formaldehyde, and souvenirs from distant travels, there's nothing like a museum!
The large wooden tabletop comes from an enormous red beech tree from Beatrix's garden. In 2014, the tree had to be cut down. It became 199 years old, just short of two centuries. A tree from 1815 is probably a beech nut from 1810 or 1811. At that time, Napoleon Bonaparte was still riding through 't Gooi.
A solid block of history. We hope that you will also write history around this five-meter-long table in our Cabinet of Curiosities.
Setup:
- 14 people at the table
- 20 people in a circle arrangement
- Theater arrangement not possible.
