In the year 1395, the city castle came into the hands of the Van
Houdaen family, who gave the castle its name. The Houdaen room, officially
called the Dirk van Houdaenkamer, breathes history. The impressive furniture
from the Golden Age gives the 7 x 11 meter space a distinguished atmosphere.
