About
History
The nave of the Grote Kerk Veere breathes 500 years of history. Construction began in 1435, a time when Veere flourished due to trade and the influence of Hendrik II van Borssele, lord of Veere. The impressive dimensions make the space unique in the area.
Cultural venue
Today, the nave is the heart of the cultural venue of the Grote Kerk, where national and international artists perform every year. When there is no program, this imposing space offers the perfect setting for a wide range of events.
Ambiance
The high windows provide beautiful light during the day, the so-called ‘Zeeland light’, while in the evening, professional lighting can create a cozy ambiance.
Event of scale
The Nave can be flexibly arranged for various events, from TED talks and lectures to dinners and receptions. The space can be set up in different configurations, including stands and stages. Additionally, there is the option to rent the side aisles with intimate niches, allowing you to create different corners for smaller groups.
With modern technology and extensive catering options, a unique setting can be created in the nave that will certainly surprise your guests.
