About
On a winter morning in 1931, Feyenoord chairman Leen van Zandvliet shouts out: “I have it, I have it!” He dreamed about ‘the ideal stadium’ and immediately sketches his idea in his notepad. Six years later, De Kuip becomes a reality. More than 85 years later, the Olympic building still stands, characterized by high ceilings, stained glass windows, and an industrial look. It is no wonder that a hall is named after the legendary chairman here. The Van Zandvliet Hall, located on the first floor, is elongated and accommodates hundreds of people, making the space suitable for any type of gathering. Over the years, the hall has been equipped with all necessary facilities, making it perfect for plenary sessions, drinks, parties, and even small fairs or conferences.
