About
Het Vakwerkhuis is een oud ketelhuis en rijksmonument uit 1903, dat vroeger voor de energievoorziening van de TU wijk zorgde, en inmiddels is omgetoverd tot een duurzame en creatieve werkplek. Waar mensen elkaar ontmoeten en inspireren. De plek in Delft om samen thuis te werken, te vergaderen in unieke ruimtes en om lekker koffie te drinken, te lunchen en te borrelen. Organiseer hier je brainstormsessie, vergadering, coachgesprek, je meerdaagse bijeenkomst of netwerkevent. We hebben ruimtes die aan alle wensen voldoen.
Vakwerk Architecten herbestemden het tot ‘coworking space’, kantoor en café. Het ketelhuis is weer een bron van energie voor zijn omgeving. De uitstraling van het gebouw is nog zoveel mogelijk gebleven zoals het was. De industriële look is nog duidelijk zichtbaar. De verschillende gebouwen van het oude ketelhuis zijn aan elkaar verbonden door middel van glas, waardoor mooie doorkijkjes gecreëerd worden. Gebruik van veel eiken hout, rood staal en groen zorgt voor een warme sfeer.
Het Vakwerkhuis is gelegen aan de Schie en op loopafstand van het mooie oude stadscentrum van Delft. In 10 minuten lopen ben je op het station van Delft. Een groene oase middenin de stad.

Here you will find practical information about the location.
Free parking is available at Vakwerkhuis. Request this in advance from the venue by emailing. If free parking is not possible, you can park in the Zuidpoort parking garage across the water. This is a 10-minute walk from the venue.
Station Delft Central is located within a 12-minute walking distance from Vakwerkhuis. There is also a bus stop near our location.
You cannot stay overnight at Vakwerkhuis. However, there are plenty of opportunities to stay overnight nearby. We can advice you places nearby.
Vakwerkhuis has its own catering. It is not possible to bring your own caterer. Please note that own catering where self-prepared products are served is not among the possibilities.
At Vakwerkhuis, you can hold a party until 01:00 AM. Outdoor music are also possible, but they must end by 09:00 PM.
Of course we hope not, but if you need to cancel the booking, you can do so free of charge up to 7 days in advance. If you cancel 3 days in advance, we charge 50% of the room rent. If you cancel within 24 hours, we charge 75% of the room rent. If cancelled on the same day, we charge 100% of the room rent and arrangements ordered.
