About the venue

Conference Center De Bazel, located within the world famous canal belt of Amsterdam, offers a wide range of banqueting and audiovisual facilities for organizing business events at any desired level. With its diverse array of rooms, the venue can accommodate various types of gatherings from 5 to 500 guests.

De Bazel, built in a distinctive Art Deco style, is situated in the historical heart of Amsterdam. It features various classical and pre-modern monumental spaces with a representative appearance. The beautiful inlaid wood floors, stucco ceilings with chandeliers, elegant fireplaces, stylish tapestries and paintings, and unique stained glass windows together create a special ambiance for your meeting, conference, dinner, or reception.

De Bazel caters to any desired level. Meetings, business events, and gatherings can take place in the unique, large King's Room, where the central board of directors of the Dutch Trading Company, formerly housed in the building, used to meet, as well as in the six other rooms, the former executive offices. All rooms have been restored to their old grandeur and are perfectly suited for various occasions.

Our personal approach and attention to your guests guarantee a seamlessly organized meeting in every respect. We combine the rich history and atmospheric environment with a contemporary touch, ensuring a successful event, whether it's a business meeting, seminar, state visit, or informal reception.

Arrangements
Given the location of the venue in the center of Amsterdam between the Keizersgracht and Herengracht, all facilities in the immediate vicinity can be utilized. We have partnerships with several hotels within walking distance of De Bazel, which we can offer in combination with our rooms for multi-day events.

To make your event at De Bazel extra special, we are also happy to arrange a (short or longer) tour through the unique building, taking you and your guests past the immense Art Deco vault complex, the prestigious 18th-century Italian room within the building, and the former bank president's office.

Accessibility
De Bazel is within walking distance of Central Station and easily accessible by public transport (tram and subway), which stops literally in front of the main entrance. Additionally, there is ample parking in the adjacent and nearby parking garages. Of course, we can also arrange valet parking services for you.
