Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam is a guardian, pioneer, and guide in the world of film and the art of moving images. Eye manages over 54,000 films of all genres: from classics, blockbusters, and early avant-garde films to the very latest VR experiments. Eye's gaze is on the past and stays up-to-date with new acquisitions, programs, and debates.
In the iconic museum building by the IJ River, there is a permanent exhibition, along with three annual rotating exhibitions in the large exhibition space. You'll also find a shop and a bar-restaurant. In the four cinemas, important and special films are screened daily.
For young and old, film enthusiasts and professionals alike, Eye sheds light on film as art, culture, entertainment, and a part of contemporary visual culture, always from a changing perspective.
For your event, you have a choice of various unique spaces. There are four cinemas of different sizes, each with its own style and top-quality audiovisual equipment. Additionally, there are four versatile spaces with ample natural light and impressive views. Two spacious foyers are available for catering moments. The spaces are available for rent for conferences, symposia, meetings, lectures, presentations, dinners, receptions, workshops, and film screenings, among other events. Eye was als filmmuseum qua uitstraling zeer geschikt voor onze Strategy Meeting. Daarbij kwam de presentatie goed tot zijn recht in de Black Box met zijn heerlijke comfortabele bioscoopstoelen. Nog een afsluiting met een hapje en een drankje op de trappen van het restaurant en de middag was compleet. Iedereen heeft het als zeer prettig ervaren. Tot een volgende keer!
EYE biedt een uitstekende locatie waar gastvrijheid en ontzorgen centraal staan. Zowel in het voortraject als tijdens het event werden we uitzonderlijk goed geholpen door Stijn en zijn team. Een aanrader voor wie een zorgeloze en gastvrije ervaring zoekt!
Eye Filmmuseum is een hele mooie locatie voor je evenementen en het is tevens een erg fijne organisatie om mee samen te werken. Ze communiceren helder en helpen je goed tijdens het event.
Voor ons internationale symposium hebben we gekozen voor het Eye vanwege de schitterende ligging aan het IJ. De gasten uit binnen en buitenland keken hun ogen uit. De Cinema 1 zaal heeft een prachtig scherm en comfortabele stoelen. Ook de technische ondersteuning van BeamSystems en Select Catering is heel goed bevallen. Alle partijen (incl Eye) waren flexibel en heel servicegericht.
