Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam is a guardian, pioneer, and guide in the world of film and the art of moving images. Eye manages over 54,000 films of all genres: from classics, blockbusters, and early avant-garde films to the very latest VR experiments. Eye's gaze is on the past and stays up-to-date with new acquisitions, programs, and debates.
In the iconic museum building by the IJ River, there is a permanent exhibition, along with three annual rotating exhibitions in the large exhibition space. You'll also find a shop and a bar-restaurant. In the four cinemas, important and special films are screened daily.
