About the venue
Welcome to Het Houtse Meer, a breathtaking location nestled in an oasis of greenery with a stunning view over a vast lake. Conveniently located for Benelux companies and easily accessible via the A27 and A59, between Breda and Oosterhout, our venue also offers ample parking for approximately 230 cars, including 12 spaces with charging stations for electric cars.
Sustainability and innovation
Het Houtse Meer is proudly GREEN KEY GOLD certified – the highest rating for sustainable businesses in the hospitality sector. This certificate is a recognition of our efforts to place sustainable entrepreneurship at the heart of everything we do! We use triple-glazed windows and a heat pump with 400% efficiency. We work with several local suppliers and with ecological and organic products such as organic wines, dairy, and vegetables, as well as ecological cleaning products.

Versatile event location
We never stand still, and 2025 is again a year full of expansions and innovations! In addition to our 3 rooms with terraces by the water, we now also have a chic extra lounge inside for presentations and dinners, a 500m2 pavilion on the outdoor area, and the airstream caravan by the water can be booked for management meetings. The beach has received a significant upgrade with much more sand, palm trees, and an activity area. Additionally, there is a new outdoor kitchen with a terrace, parasols, and a large Argentine grill.
For activities in between, there are 3 pétanque courts on our grounds and an activity beach with many possibilities and a direct environment with plenty of options. We have a special activities team available that will create a great program tailored to your company.
From an inspiration session or staff day to a complete corporate event, themed party, or walking dinner: we arrange everything from A to Z, and our experienced team ensures an unforgettable experience.

Extra upper floor with rooftop terrace
Starting April 1, 2026, we will open our upper floor with 4 additional rooms of 100 m2 each. These rooms can be connected, and there is a large rooftop terrace surrounding them with a beautiful view of the lake.
