Internationaal Theater Amsterdam

International Theater Amsterdam (ITA) is located in the heart of the vibrant Leidseplein and is housed in the iconic Stadsschouwburg, one of the most beautiful historic theaters in the Netherlands. Known for the annual Boekenbal and events such as the Gouden Loeki, the Buma Awards, and festivals like Brandhaarden, Lieve Stad,IDFA, and the Holland Festival, this is their home. For over 130 years, it has been the place for grand encounters.

With 13 characterful halls and foyers, ITA can accommodate groups of up to 1,800 guests. Whether it’s for intimate meetings in The Bookshop, stylish dining in the Royal Foyer, a congress in the Great Hall, or a party right on stage: everything is possible here.

Unique in the Netherlands: dine with up to 200 guests or celebrate with 600 guests on stage. Thanks to a special subfloor, the Great Hall can also transform into an impressive dining venue for 400 people.
