Atmosphere & options
Your guests enter a former monastery where history is tangible. The building was opened in 1952 as a monastery of the Crucians. Education and hospitality already played an important role back then. These functions are once again visible today: the building is now a learning hotel with meeting rooms, hotel rooms, and Restaurant Novice.
A business day can proceed logically here. You welcome your guests in the monastery corridors, start with a plenary session in the Church Hall, and then divide the group into smaller rooms. The Refectorium, formerly the dining room of the priests, works well for presentations and meetings. The former leisure room of the Crucians is now the Crucian Hall, overlooking the greenery.
After the substantive program, guests move on to drinks, a buffet, or dinner. This can be in the monastery corridors, Restaurant Novice, or the Church Hall. For a multi-day program, guests can stay overnight in one of the 21 hotel rooms. The rooms are located where the former quarters of the Crucians used to be.

Sustainable meetings and dining
Leerhotel Het Klooster and Restaurant Novice make conscious choices in sustainability. You can notice this in the kitchen, in the garden, and in the way the hotel works daily on reducing waste and increasing greenery.
The own vegetable garden plays a visible role in this. Here the team harvests fresh herbs, edible flowers, vegetables, and fruits for the dishes of Restaurant Novice. In addition, the restaurant has a herb garden from LIF, so fresh herbs can be used at any time.
Food waste also receives attention. Through Instock, the location purchases rescued products for the hospitality industry. Furthermore, Leerhotel Het Klooster collaborates with Hotels for Trees. When a hotel guest skips room cleaning, a tree is planted.
Sustainability is also found in smaller choices. The location uses The Good Roll, 100% tree-friendly toilet paper. Additionally, energy is saved with, among other things, LED lighting. In the garden, fruit trees and shrubs have been planted, including apple, pear, cherry, quince, peach, kiwi, and Japanese wineberry.
Restaurant Novice
Restaurant Novice completes your meeting with lunch, drinks, dinner, or breakfast. The kitchen works with seasonal products, ingredients from the own vegetable garden, and local collaborations.
You can use Restaurant Novice for a business dinner, a closing lunch, or a culinary part of your multi-day program. The menu changes regularly, and there are suitable wines to accompany the dishes.
