With more than 170 cultures in one city, Rotterdam is the world. We draw inspiration from this city, its many cultures, and show how special the world really is. We do this wholeheartedly in our museum with impressive exhibitions and activities. But also with striking business events where we serve a varied culinary selection of worldly dishes at the highest level. We show you the world and let you taste it.
Event location
Our three halls are filled with Rotterdam history, have a modern decor, and all the necessary audiovisual facilities. The furniture can be adjusted to your liking in different setups. The meters-high decorated ceilings and the Rotterdam skyline come as a bonus. In the Elie van Rijckevorsel hall, you can meet with a small group or dine intimately. The Ballroom, possibly in combination with the Salon, can be used for conferences, parties, or dinners.
World cuisine
Grand, intimate, or private. Our kitchen team cooks with love for everyone. They are inspired by the richness of the super-diverse city that Rotterdam is. This results in exciting combinations. They can easily cater a walking dinner for 350 people, but also an informal gathering for a small group. Our chef and his team have put together an extensive Foodbook for every type of event.

Ik organiseerde voor mijn werkgever een middagbijeenkomst en diner in de Balzaal. Deze was opgedeeld met een theateropstelling en ronde tafels voor diner met podium. Heerlijk gegeten en vele positieve reacties van onze gasten ontvangen. De samenwerking met het Wereldmuseum was heel fijn. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
De familiebijeenkomst met lezing en tafelgesprekken in de Elie van Rijckevorsel zaal was mede een succes dankzij de behulpzame medewerkers en de lekkere borrelhapjes. 'Last minute' wijzigingen werden probleemloos opgelost.
We hebben een fantastische avond gehad. Prachtige locatie: de Balzaal waarbij wij ook gebruik mochten maken van de vleugel. De bediening was supervriendelijk en eten erg goed, niks op aan te merken!
Wij organiseerden voor 130 personen een symposium bij het Wereldmuseum en dat is een heel positieve ervaring voor ons geweest! We zijn geweldig ondersteund door flexibele en meedenkende medewerkers van het museum, waardoor het een geslaagde dag was.
