About the space

Meet or dine amidst more than 165 years of Rotterdam history with a view of the Kop van Zuid. That can only be done at the Wereldmuseum. On the fourth floor of our monumental building lies the Elie van Rijckevorselzaal, named after one of the founders of the museum, the physicist and world traveler Dr. Elie van Rijckevorsel (1845-1928). You can enjoy here in peace while the ships sail by on the Maas.
