All of this in an inspiring ambiance of a charming Fort where the past seamlessly blends with a lively up-to-date atmosphere. Additionally, we gladly employ all possible presentation techniques to flawlessly convey the message to the target audience.

To ensure the success of your event, Fort Altena has all the cards in hand. Situated right next to the highway, ample parking has been carefully considered, and the location itself is surprising: ancient tradition wrapped in a contemporary and atmospheric package... And let's not forget about the charming plenary space and numerous subrooms in the outbuildings.
Fresh Air and Plenty of Energy
Certainly not insignificant: we notice that our guests greatly appreciate our large and unique outdoor area. This prevents the 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. slumps. Therefore, our events always maintain a good and productive energy level. Whenever the sun peeks out, the terrace immediately fills up. Our hospitable service staff adds the finishing touch.

Rolling grass fields, large water features, and exciting bunkers provide the backdrop for various activities such as archery, pitching golf, archery tag, and other team-building activities. We also offer the Gladio games, a 2-hour program specially designed for companies, suitable for groups ranging from 25 to 1000 people.

The former brasserie has now been converted into a cozy bar, ideal for drinks and dinners. The ground floor comprises three areas: the entrance with the restrooms, the bar, and the dining area. On the first floor, there are three additional rooms and a corridor, which are perfect as breakout areas next to Warehouse K. These rooms are also great for meetings or presentations involving smaller groups.

Fort Altena boasts an array of versatile spaces. While each space can be booked independently, there's also the opportunity to reserve the entire fort exclusively for your event.
Beyond Warehouse K, which has a capacity for 500 guests, the fort houses several rooms distributed across two barracks. The ground floor of the C-barrack features a stylish bar section and a room perfectly suited for meetings or breakout sessions. Upstairs, a corridor connects to three distinct rooms.
In the B-barrack, the top floor presents a spacious corridor leading to a dedicated room. Meanwhile, the ground floor's brasserie, divided into two areas, can effortlessly transition into a meeting or breakout space.
Each room spans 50m2 and can comfortably accommodate 20 attendees in a U-shape or 60 in a theater-style setup.

Warehouse K offers a modern setting with a distinctive industrial flair, making it an ideal choice for your conference, symposium, dinner, or party.
Spanning its entire length are elegant glass facades that can be fully retracted. This not only floods the space with natural daylight but also creates a seamless indoor-outdoor ambiance.
Furthermore, Warehouse K can be easily partitioned into two, allowing for flexible adjustments depending on the number of guests or the event's agenda.
Whether you're hosting a gathering of 50 or a large-scale event for 500, Warehouse K has you covered.
Adjacent to Warehouse K is the Inner Courtyard, a prime spot for evoking a "food festival" atmosphere, serving a fine dinner, or holding a laid-back drinks reception.
Majestic trees and oversized parasols ensure ample shade when needed. If desired, we can also adorn the courtyard with stylish stretch tents for added coverage.

Located between the B and C barracks, you'll find the Tower Fort, a unique structure with a circular open courtyard. A section of this Tower Fort houses the museum, making it a delightful stop when you visit our fort.
The courtyard can be utilized as part of a meeting, offering a captivating round outdoor space.
The museum, which consists of four small rooms as well as two furnished spaces, can be repurposed for intimate breakout sessions. Alternatively, these two furnished rooms can serve as a space for speakers or the event's organizing team.

In the recently restored B-barracks, you'll find our brasserie, which is open from Friday to Sunday, 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The brasserie spans across three areas: a bar section and two dining sections. These dining areas can also be repurposed for meetings or as session rooms.
On the first floor, there's a dedicated meeting room. Lastly, the B-barracks features a beautiful, expansive terrace directly adjacent to the lush green lawn.

Bij Loods K hoort een groot terras. Ontvangst, pauzes, lunch, borrel en diner kan bij een beetje goed weer al lekker buiten op het eigen terras van Loods K.
Grote parasols en bomen zorgen voor voldoende schadus, maar het is ook mogelijk een stretchtent te plaatsen aan de loods.
Denk je aan een BBQ, een foodtruckfestival, een buffet of een uitserveerd diner, alles kan op het grote terras

Voor onze B-kazerne ligt een mooi terras met aansluitend een groot grasveld met uitzicht op het water. Grote bomen zorgen voor veel sfeer.
Op het terras staan grote parasols, maar het is ook mogelijk om een stretchtent te plaatsen of wat dacht je van een grote glazen aluhal..
