Just as the Main Deck of a ship extends from bow to stern, the Main Deck of PTA extends from the front to the back of the building. The undulating shape of the sixteen-meter-high roof symbolizes the connection between land and water, and the massive wooden beams in the interior serve as a reminder of the shipbuilding tradition. The transparency of the building and the abundance of glass ensure natural daylight on the Main Deck with beautiful lighting throughout all seasons.
