De Kleine Zaal is een zogenaamde vlakkevloerzaal: het podium is niet verhoogt maar op gelijk niveau met de rest van de zaal. De tribune kan naar wens geheel of gedeeltelijk worden ingeschoven om bijvoorbeeld ruimte te maken voor een groter podium of om de zaal te gebruiken voor een borrel of feest.
