Atmospheric and Intimate
Experience the intimate atmosphere of the Small Hall during your conference or meeting. Former boat builders have completely lined the hall with wood, which creates a warm appearance. It feels like all 408 seats are front row, as close as you are to the stage as a visitor.
Small Hall is a big favorite
This hall is particularly loved by musicians due to the excellent acoustics, which give concerts a unique sound and depth. Speakers also appreciate the hall very much, especially because of the closeness to the audience. This not only promotes interaction and creates an engaged atmosphere, but also puts the speaker at ease.
Plenary, sub-session, or recording?
The Small Hall is adjacent to the Upper Foyer and is usually used as a plenary space or as a sub-room next to the Large Hall. The total capacity is 408, but when the balcony (125 seats) is closed, there is a remaining capacity of 283 downstairs. Due to its warm appearance, this hall is also popular for video or TV recordings.
