Anyone looking around in PLATFORM ONE will see the result of the most spectacular demolition work that has taken place to create good sightlines. The massive columns have been blown up with dynamite; some have been replaced by narrow steel pillars.

UNFORGETTABLE EVENT
The result is an impressive hall with an industrial appearance where the original function of the building is still visible. In this flexibly usable space, an unforgettable event is guaranteed. The largest hall of the Maassilo is excellent for trade fairs, fashion shows, conferences, dinners, and large corporate parties.

LOADING DOCK
PLATFORM ONE used to serve as a loading dock, where grain was delivered from the port and pumped up through large pipes. There it went into a bin with rubber belts and was then poured into the silos. The funnels of the silos are still clearly visible in the ceiling.

BEAUTIFUL ACOUSTICS
The acoustics of the hall have recently been adjusted for live music. Special panels have been placed against the wall to absorb echoes. Behind those metal grilles on the walls is foam and foil, which absorbs all the sound from the hall. The holes in the ceiling, where the silos are, have been filled in. These adjustments ensure a pleasant acoustic experience during your event – despite the size of the hall.
