About the venue
The Rode Hoed in Amsterdam is a captivating hidden venue for both corporate and celebratory gatherings.
Exceptional full-service event venue along the Keizersgracht
The Rode Hoed is a professional full-service event venue situated on the historic UNESCO World Heritage canals of Amsterdam. From a board meeting, an international congress with a luxurious walking dinner to a romantic (church) wedding or an atmospheric celebration. Seven different rooms, a spacious foyer, a beautiful café, and easily accessible on foot, by bike, car, or boat. With space for 450 people and in combination with our own professional catering department and highly experienced technicians, almost nothing is impossible for your event at the Rode Hoed.
Historical site as a debate center
The ancient Greeks had the Agora, and the Romans had the Forum. Here in Amsterdam, we have the Rode Hoed, which stands in a 400-year-old tradition as a haven for ideas and reflection. The Rode Hoed is a critical follower and driver of social discussion, producing debates, symposia, literary, and musical gatherings. Our Grand Hall resonates with beautiful acoustics. As a platform for discussion, reflection, and exploration, we impartially address various themes and dilemmas.
Accessibility
Rode Hoed is located in the heart of Amsterdam and is easily accessible by public transport. Amsterdam Central Station is within walking distance.
