About the space

In the middle of the Heritage Quarter lies the Hooiberg (in English: The Haystack). This atmospheric space of 42 m² is named after the very first brewery that Gerard Adriaan Heineken bought, before he moved to our current location.

While you take a look through the windows at the archives of the Collection Foundation, this inspiring space forms the heart of the building.

The Hooiberg is suitable for a variety of meetings and setups, including beer tastings, receptions (up to 20 people), theater setups (up to 15 people), boardroom setups (up to 8 people), and seated dinners.

Whatever occasion you are organizing, the Hooiberg offers a unique setting full of history and character.
