Kemenadekamer

The Kemenadekamer is a cozy and intimate space, named after the Middle Dutch word ‘kemenade’, which means both ‘room with a hearth’ and ‘women's chamber’. In the second half of the 20th century, a training center was established in the castle, and the director playfully named her room ‘the kemenade’. This name has remained since then. A special, quiet space for small group discussions or as a breakout room with character.
