About the space
The Van Alkemade Hall is named after the 14th and 15th-century owners of Oud-Poelgeest. This stately hall was created in the early 19th century during the renovation of the castle and was built to replace earlier rooms, in favor of the Dragon Hall. The raised floor and windows that reach down to the floor provide a special light effect. The charming entrance with a 17th-century door and a makeshift wooden step – once intended as a temporary solution – gives this hall a unique character. An inspiring space for meetings, receptions, or private dinners.
