About the venue

Molen van West is a historical city oasis in Amsterdam-West, on the grounds of Molen De Otter, the oldest working sawmill in the world.

Here, heritage, sustainability, and creativity come together. A place where meaningful encounters can take place. Right in the city, but outside of time.

Ideal for cultural institutions, impact organizations, policymakers, strategy teams, top consultancies, embassies, law and notary offices, financial institutions, creative agencies, food and design brands, visionaries, and artists.

A national monument mill from 1631, which still saws wood. Two characterful warehouses, WATER and WIND., for events, sessions, and dinners. Sustainably heated with aquathermy. Winner of the SBIR Innovation Award 'Sustainable Heritage' & PROVADA Inspiration Award 2025.

And above all: a place with soul.
