About the space
Where the mint master held his discussions and literature on minting was kept, the most formal moments now take place at Munthuys.
The Rijkszaal, the former library of the Royal Mint on the first floor of the Mint building, is culturally and historically one of the most valuable interiors of the building. Original bookshelves, wall paintings by Ids Wiersma, and a beautiful ceiling have been preserved.
The room accommodates 30 guests at the table and is particularly suitable for promotions and exclusive high-level dinners. The two adjacent subrooms also make the Rijkszaal suitable as a meeting room, mediation room, or subroom for a larger congress.
